Detailed Itinerary: Day by Day
Day 1:
Exploring Lima, the City of Kings
Welcome to Lima! Upon your arrival at the airport, we will be waiting to give you a warm reception and take you directly to your hotel, where you can rest and adjust to the time change.
At 2:30 p.m., our exciting panoramic tour of the city will begin. First, we will visit the iconic Huaca Pucllana, an impressive archaeological site that will connect you with the region’s pre-Inca roots. Then, we’ll head to the heart of Lima’s historic center, where we will tour the majestic Government Palace and the imposing Archbishop’s Palace. You won’t want to miss the visit to the magnificent Cathedral Basilica, which holds centuries of history and faith, followed by the exploration of the mysterious crypts of the San Francisco Convent, known for its catacombs.

Day 2:
Cusco, Imperial City
We will transfer you from your hotel in Lima to the airport to start our journey to the magical city of Cusco, where we’ll receive a warm welcome. Upon arrival, a representative will be waiting to take us to the hotel, where we can rest and acclimatize. In the afternoon, we will explore the city and the nearby archaeological sites accompanied by our guide.

Day 3:
Discovering the Mysteries of Machu Picchu
We will start the day early, heading to one of the most anticipated experiences of the trip: Machu Picchu. We will arrive at the train station to board the train that will take us to the picturesque town of Aguas Calientes, where we will take a bus to the impressive archaeological complex of Machu Picchu.
Once there, we will enjoy a guided tour, allowing you to discover the history, architecture, and mysteries of this world wonder while admiring its spectacular mountain landscapes. After the visit, we will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch or to explore the town on your own. Later, we will take the train back to Cusco.

Day 4:
Sacred Valley of the Incas
Today we will experience a unique adventure exploring the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our journey will take us through picturesque Quechua communities, where we will admire traditional adobe houses and colorful farmland, while the locals, dressed in their traditional attire, keep their ancestral customs alive. We will arrive at Pisaq, famous for its impressive Inca agricultural terraces and, depending on the day, we will explore its vibrant artisan market. We will continue to Ollantaytambo, an imposing archaeological complex that was once a strategic point in Inca defense. Then, we’ll head to Chinchero, known for its traditional textiles and home to fascinating Inca ruins. We’ll stop in Urubamba to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch, surrounded by the serenity of this incredible valley, known as the birthplace of the Inca Empire.

Day 5:
The Sun Route from Cusco to Puno
In the morning, we will begin our exciting journey by heading to the bus terminal, where we will depart for Puno, traveling the legendary route once followed by the founders of Cusco and the Inca Empire. Along the way, we will make several stops to explore some of the region's most iconic sites. Our first stop will be at the charming Chapel of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas, nicknamed the "Sistine Chapel of the Americas," whose simple exterior hides a dazzling interior decorated with invaluable murals and artistic details. We will also visit the Raqchi Archaeological Complex, home to the temple of the god Wiracocha, one of the most impressive Inca structures. Afterward, we’ll stop at La Raya, the border between Cusco and Puno, an impressive viewpoint marking the highest point of the journey, offering panoramic views of the majestic Andes. Finally, we’ll arrive at the Pukara Museum, where we’ll discover the fascinating legacy of this ancient pre-Inca civilization. During the trip, we will enjoy a buffet lunch at a tourist restaurant.

Day 6:
Floating Islands of Lake Titicaca
We will begin our adventure from the port, sailing on the tranquil waters of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. Our first stop will be the fascinating Floating Islands of the Uros, where we will meet the descendants of this ancient civilization, the Uros, considered the oldest inhabitants of the continent. These locals have created a unique way of life, using totora reeds, a plant that provides them not only food and transportation but also the material with which they build their islands and homes. We will then continue to Taquile Island, a Quechua-speaking community known for its ancestral traditions and colorful textiles, considered an Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. A day full of culture and stunning landscapes that will connect you with the deepest roots of the Andes.

Day 7:
Puno - La Paz
Early in the morning, we will be picked up from the hotel and taken to the bus terminal, heading to the Bolivian capital of La Paz. We will make a stop in Desaguadero for immigration control, so personal documents must be at hand. We will continue our journey for approximately three hours. Finally, we will arrive in La Paz, where our vehicle will be waiting to take us to the hotel.

Day 8:
City Tour in La Paz and Valley of the Moon
We begin our tour with a pick-up from the hotel to explore the fascinating city of La Paz. We’ll start with an exciting cable car ride, offering a bird’s-eye view of the city. Next, we’ll head to the historic Plaza Murillo, home to the Government Palace, the National Assembly, and the majestic Cathedral. We will continue our tour through the picturesque colonial Jaén Street, full of history and charm. Afterward, we will visit the Killi Killi viewpoint, where we can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the city. We’ll also explore the famous Witches' Market, known for its crafts and natural medicine practices. After lunch (not included), we’ll transfer to the southern zone to visit the impressive Valley of the Moon. Here, we will take a walk to fully appreciate this wonderful natural site, with its unique rock formations and surreal landscapes.

Day 9:
Copacabana - Isla del Sol
We will start our journey from La Paz to Copacabana, where we’ll head to Yampupata port. There, we’ll board a boat that will take us to the magical Isla del Sol. On this island, we’ll explore the fascinating ruins of the Pilkokaina Palace, also known as the Temple of the Sun, an important archaeological Inca site. We’ll continue our adventure climbing the Yumani stairways, where we’ll encounter the charming stone fountain known as the "fountain of life." We’ll also admire the ingenious terrace farming systems surrounding the area. This mystical place will transport us back to ancient times when the connection with Mother Earth was deep and essential. Finally, we’ll return to Copacabana and then to La Paz.

Day 10:
Uyuni Salt Flats: Colchani - Incahuasi - San Juan
We will depart in the morning to take the flight from La Paz to Uyuni. Our journey to the impressive Uyuni Salt Flats will be in a 4x4 vehicle. The first stop will be the Train Cemetery, a place full of history and charm. Then, we will visit the picturesque town of Colchani, located on the edge of the salt flats, where we will observe the traditional salt extraction process.
We will continue our journey to Incahuasi Island, located 80 km away. From its summit, surrounded by gigantic cacti, we will admire the vast expanse of the salt flats and the majestic Tunupa volcano. There will be time to enjoy the landscape and capture memorable photographs.
At the end of the day, we will head to the town of San Juan for an overnight stay.

On this day, we will explore the majestic highland lagoons: Laguna Honda, Ramadita, and Hedionda, each with its own unique charm. Our journey will also take us to the desolate Siloli Desert, where we will stop to admire the iconic Stone Tree.
We will continue towards the impressive Laguna Colorada, where we will spend the night. This trip allows us to experience the serenity and tranquility of the desert and lagoons, set amidst a desolate yet fascinating landscape.
At the end of the day, we will stay in Huayllajara.

At dawn, we will depart from Laguna Colorada to the impressive geysers, where it will feel like traveling back to the early days of Earth's formation. Then, we will head to the relaxing Hot Springs, a perfect place to enjoy a revitalizing bath.
We will continue our adventure to the dazzling Laguna Verde, whose emerald waters will leave us amazed. Finally, we will return to Uyuni, where we will take the bus back to La Paz (approximate travel time of 9 hours). Arrival in La Paz.
