Detailed Itinerary: Day by Day
Day 1:
ATV Maras - Moray half day
We will start this adventure by picking you up from your hotel in Cusco between 07:00 and 07:15 a.m. To go on our mobility for about 40 minutes to the Cruzpata sector. Small town where our guides and ATVs will be waiting for us with the necessary equipment.
In Cruzpata our guide will give us some tips and we will practice for a few minutes before leaving for Moray, archaeological center of Inca data that according to some historians and archaeologists was used as an experimental laboratory of the different products of different parts of the Tahuantinsuyo as the potato, the corn and even the leaves of Coca.
After a brief guided tour in Moray we will continue on our ATVs to Maras passing through trails and extensive pampas, in Maras we can appreciate its beautiful plaza and colonial church.
We will leave the ATVs near the town of Maras and we will travel by tourist transport to the salt mines of Maras. Here we can appreciate hundreds of salt pits that are used today by local people who sell it to help their economy.
After our visit we will return to where we left the four-wheel drive to return to Cruzpata from where we will transfer them in our mobility to the city of Cusco.
Optional: Only 5 minutes from Cruzpata in the community of Racchi we can practice Zipline (zip line) which has 4 levels of cables with a length of 600 m and 200 m.
You can choose to add this alternative for an additional cost and it can be done before or after the ATV tour.
