Detailed Itinerary: Day by Day
Day 1:
The Summit - Yolosa - La Paz
The bike tour starts with pick up from your hotel at 7:00 am. Then we will go in our car to the summit (4700 m), where the tour starts downhill biking over 3500 meters in about 5 hours.
The first part of the tour is almost cold asphalt combined with height due to its proximity to the mountains, approximately one hour we will arrive at the village of Unduavi, from this point you may notice the change of climate and the landscape of the jungle.
On the way we will make several stops to rest, take pictures, hydrate and feed a little, in the area of San Juan will have to pass under two waterfalls that fall on the highway (which is a unique experience).
After having traveled about 5 hours we reached the town of Yolosa (1180 m), with temperatures above 25 degrees.
In Yolosa end our biking adventure, where we have lunch and then we will have 2 hours free to visit the village by ourselves.
