Pachacamac + Lunch + City Tour in Lima
Morning | Historic Center of Lima & Catacombs
The day begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Miraflores, San Isidro, or Downtown Lima. We will start with a panoramic view of Huaca Pucllana, an important pre-Inca religious precinct from the 4th century. Next, we head to the Historic Center to explore Lima’s most iconic squares, colonial mansions, and churches, featuring a guided visit to the San Francisco Monastery and its impressive underground catacombs.
Midday | Modern Lima & Tourist Lunch
We will then drive toward the modern residential district of San Isidro and enjoy a privileged panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean from the famous Miraflores Boardwalk. Afterward, we will stop at a traditional tourist restaurant to enjoy a delicious local lunch.
Afternoon | Pachacamac Archaeological Sanctuary
Following lunch, we head south toward the Pachacamac Archaeological Sanctuary, the most crucial pre-Inca oracle and religious center on the Peruvian coast. Here, you will explore ancient mud-brick structures dedicated to major deities, including the Temple of Pachacamac, the Temple of the Sun, and the House of the Virgins of the Sun (Acllawasi).
