Detailed Itinerary: Day by Day

Day 1: Visiting Humantay Lagoon

The pick-up from your hotel will be at 4:30 in the morning. We will board our tourist transport and after 2 hours we will arrive to Mollepata, where we will register our information and pay to enter in the Salkantay route. In this same town we will taste of our breakfast and later we will continue in our transportation another hour until we reach to Soraypampa. From this point we will have wonderful views of the snowy Salkantay and Humantay forming a landscape without equal. Here we are going to start our trek, slowly we will ascend for approximately one hour until we reach the Humantay Lagoon located at 4300 meters above sea level, It is situated at the foot of the Humantay snow Peak, we will be in this magical place for approximately one hour, you will be able to take photos and if possible take a dip, in addition we will get the explanation of our experienced guide.

At the end of the visit of this beautiful lagoon we will begin our descent trek and our return trip to Mollepata where we will have our lunch 2:00 pm. After lunch we will take the transportation back to Cusco arriving around 5:00 pm. We will leave you in a location near the Plaza de Armas, thus ending our services.
