Detailed Itinerary: Day by Day
Day 1:
Arequipa - Cabanaconde - Llahuar
You will be picking up from your hotel at 4:00am to aboard our private bus. We'll head first to the Colca Canyon's most famous lookout, the Condor's Cross. From here you'll be able to observe the canyon in all its enormity and the Andean Condors, the world's largest bird of flight, as they circle ever higher without flapping their wings and come incredibly close to the canyon walls. Afterwards we'll enjoy a packed breakfast and then head to the town of Cabanaconde (3287m) fifteen minutes away. Cabanaconde is one of the most traditional of the Canyon's towns, where the people still cultivate corn on pre-Incan terraces
In Cabanaconde we'll have a hearty lunch in order to prepare ourselves for our descent into the Canyon. It's a 5 hour trek to Llahuar, though it goes quickly thanks to the majesty of the Canyon landscape. At Llahuar you can fish trout for dinner and enjoy the thermal baths while watching the Colca Valley geysers. We'll spend the night in Llahuar in family homes.

Day 2:
Fure Oasis - Huaruro Waterfalls
After a good breakfast we will continue the trip, about an hour arrive at the village of Llatica (2438 m) in the way we will enjoy the scenery of the canyon, watching inhabitants collect cochineal. After a walk of three hours we reach the village of Fure Oasis for lunch. In the afternoon we'll visit the Huaruro waterfalls. You will have a spectacular view over the waters that fall over 100 meters. We'll go fishing in the river. Afterwards we'll return to Fure and restr in our rustic bungalows.

Day 3:
Sangalle Oasis - Cabanaconde
After a hearty breakfast, we head to the community of Sangalle (Oasis), the walk takes about four hours, enjoy panoramic views and tropical climate. Lunch at Sangalle (Oasis) and we will have free afternoon to enjoy a swim in the pool and exploring the surrounding area. After the break we began our ascent to Cabanaconde (3287m) in about 3 hours walking in the way we have an excellent view of the mountains and canyon. Overnight in a hotel (with private bathroom and hot water).Dinner

Day 4:
Cruz del Condor - Chivay - Arequipa
This day we will have breakfast at 6:00 am in order to board the bus to Chivay. On the way we will make several stops to visit different towns and tourist attractions. These include Choquetico Viewpoint, from where you'll see the Choquetico Model Stone- it's pre-Inca carving diagrams the terracing and terrain on the canyon's other side- and Antahuilque Viewpoint, from where you be able to see the lakes below. Upon our arrival at Chivay we'll have lunch and you'll have the option to go to the Las Caleras natural hot springs. We'll return to Arequipa in the afternoon, arriving in the city around 5:00pm.
