Detailed Itinerary: Day by Day
DAY 1:
Lima – Lunahuaná – Lima
Pickup is available from three meeting points between approximately 4:15 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. We will begin our journey in tourist transport from Lima to Lunahuaná. We will first visit the beach resort of Cerro Azul, where you can enjoy beautiful coastal views and take part in optional activities such as ATV rides. You will also have the opportunity to experience basic-level rafting on the Cañete River. Continuing our journey, we will visit Incahuasi, where you will receive an explanation and enjoy panoramic views of this historic site. We will then proceed to Lunahuaná, visiting its church, main square, and the San Juan Viewpoint.
There will be free time for lunch. You will receive recommendations for local restaurants where you can enjoy the best regional dishes, such as sopa seca lunahuaneña, arroz con pato, fresh trout from Nor Yauyos, and a variety of shrimp dishes (chupe, picante, a la piedra, al ajo, chicharrones, and more). After lunch, you may participate in optional activities such as canopy or rafting.
At 2:00 p.m., we will begin a valley city tour, visiting places such as Catapalla, a hanging bridge, a beekeeping center, the main square, a colonial church, and the urban area of Lunahuaná. You will also enjoy tastings of honey, pollen, and other local products. Additionally, we will visit a local winery for a tasting of different varieties of wines and piscos. At the end of this full-day adventure, we will return to Lima in tourist transport.
