08:30 AM – 09:00 AM | Hotel Pickup and Drive South to Pachacamac
We begin the excursion with a pickup from your hotel in Miraflores, San Isidro, or Downtown Lima. We will travel south towards the Lurín Valley.
10:00 AM – 12:30 PM | Guided Tour of Pachacamac Sanctuary
We will explore the archaeological complex, visiting the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of Pachacamac, and the Acllahuasi (House of the Chosen Women or Mamaconas). You will learn about the mystical and administrative importance of this sacred site.
01:00 PM – 02:30 PM | Buffet / Tourist Lunch
You will enjoy a delicious lunch at a selected tourist restaurant to sample renowned Peruvian gastronomy.
03:00 PM – 05:00 PM | Historic Center of Lima and Catacombs
We will head to the Historic Center of Lima (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). We will tour the Main Square (Plaza Mayor), the Government Palace, the Cathedral, and iconic colonial mansions. We will enter the San Francisco Convent to explore its mysterious underground Catacombs.
