DAY 1:
Arequipa – Pillones Waterfalls – Pampas Cañahuas
We begin early at 7:00 a.m. with hotel pickup in Arequipa. From there, we start our journey by car to our first stop in the village of Pampa de Arrieros, which was historically the old gateway to the city of Arequipa.
We then continue to the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, where we will admire vicuñas in their natural habitat. Our route continues toward the spectacular Pillones Waterfall, where we will take a short hike to reach the cascade and enjoy the incredible surrounding landscape. After this refreshing experience, we head to the impressive Puruña Stone Forest, where we begin a fascinating walk through unique rock formations sculpted by nature over time.
Here, you will have free time to explore and immerse yourself in this surreal environment full of natural wonders. Finally, around 5:00 p.m., we return near the Main Square of Arequipa, bringing back unforgettable memories and a deep appreciation for the natural and cultural beauty experienced throughout the day.
