DAY 1:
Cusco - Q'eswachaka
We begin our exciting adventure early in the morning with hotel pickup in Cusco between 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. From there, we travel in a comfortable vehicle toward the community of Q’eswachaka, enjoying a scenic journey of approximately 3 hours. Along the way, we make a stop to enjoy a good breakfast and also visit the small lagoons of Acopia Lagoon, Asnacocha Lagoon, and Pampamarca Lagoon.
Once in Q’eswachaka, we immerse ourselves in the fascinating history and culture of the region by visiting the iconic Q’eswachaka Inca Bridge. Here, we learn about the impressive annual construction and renewal of this ancestral bridge, a tradition passed down through generations. We are amazed by the skill and knowledge of the local communities that keep this unique heritage alive. After exploring the suspension bridge, we enjoy a pleasant walk around the community, discovering cultural sites and breathtaking landscapes. This experience allows us to connect with local life and appreciate their rich cultural heritage.
Later, we enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Finally, around 5:00 p.m., we begin our return journey to Cusco, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
