Detailed Itinerary: Day by Day
Day 1:
Rafting in the Chukicahuana river
To begin this beautiful adventure on the Chuquicahuana River, we will pick you up from your hostels in Cusco between 8:00 and 8:15 am in our tourist transportation. From there, we will start our journey toward the beautiful Urubamba Valley, heading to the area known as Cusipata, which takes approximately one hour. During the trip, we will enjoy the natural beauty of the Andes mountain range.
Upon arriving in Cusipata, we will leave our belongings and then continue to Chuquicahuana, traveling along the road from Cusco to Puno, located in the southeast of the imperial city.
In Chuquicahuana, our specialized guide will provide a briefing with important recommendations for the rafting experience, as well as some first aid tips. During this briefing, you will also receive the necessary equipment (life jacket, helmet, paddles, and other safety gear), which is mandatory for the rafting activity.
After the briefing, we will begin our adventure, rafting for approximately two and a half hours. During this exciting journey, you will also enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Andean region, including small traditional villages, the daily life of local people, and lush agricultural fields.
Once we return to Cusipata, where we left our belongings, a delicious lunch will be ready for us. After lunch, we will begin our return trip to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:00 pm
