Detailed Itinerary: Day by Day
DAY 1:
Arequipa – Patahuasi – Salinas Lagoon – Arequipa Salt Flats
Pickup from your hotel in Arequipa and begin an impressive drive through the Chiguata Valley, surrounded by stunning Andean landscapes. Our first stop will be at Salinas Lagoon, a salt lake known for its pinkish hue and the Andean flamingos that inhabit it. Get your camera ready to capture incredible photos of these elegant birds in their natural habitat. After observing the flamingos, we will continue our journey to the Arequipa Salt Flats, where we will walk across the vast salt plains and observe the unique natural formations created by salt deposits.
Our final stop will be at the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, where we will have the opportunity to observe native wildlife such as vicuñas, alpacas, and llamas. Finally, we will return to your hotel in Arequipa.
