Detailed Itinerary: Day by Day
DAY 1:
Swimming with Sea Lions at the Palomino Islands
Sailing over waters full of mystery, we will pass by El Camotal, known as the “Peruvian Atlantis”, an area of Callao that was submerged after a devastating earthquake in 1746. Further ahead, we will spot San Lorenzo Island, an ancient pre-Inca burial site filled with stories of pirates and corsairs, as well as the imposing El Frontón Island, famous for its former prison that once held prominent political figures during the early years of the republic.
The highlight of the tour takes us to the spectacular Palomino Islands, home to a vibrant community of guano birds and, of course, the charismatic sea lions. Here, you will have the unique opportunity to swim alongside these animals in their natural habitat—an experience that is both safe and magical thanks to the absence of natural predators in the area.
This tour concludes around 1:00 p.m. at the same departure point. If your schedule allows, a visit to the historic Real Felipe Fortress is highly recommended, where you can immerse yourself in the history of the battles and legends that shaped the region. Enjoy a day full of nature, history, and excitement on this unmissable tour—an experience to remember!
