The Sun Island - City Tour Copacabana
Among all these islands, the largest is the Island of the Sun, whose original name is Isla Titikaka, and for this reason the lake where it is located bears its name, which means “Rock of the Puma.” During the Inca period, it was a sanctuary with a temple of virgins dedicated to the service of the Sun God. It is credited as the birthplace of the most important entities of the Inca religion and as the legendary place of the creation of the Inca Empire. For this reason, a visit is a must.
