Inca World Perú

Detailed Itinerary: Day by Day

Day 1: Condor Canyon - Cusco

Our adventure starts picking you up from your hotel and taking our private transportation to go to the Valley of Limatambo. During our trip we will pass through various picturesque villages and archaeological sites. It would be 3hrs on the way approximately.

Our first stop will be at Q‘illarumiyoc where we'll visit the center of veneration of the Quilla (moon) and will appreciate the extensive terraces that decorate the place, all this accompanied by a spectacular view of the valley of Anta.

Before reaching the town of Limatambo, we'll visit the archaeological site of Tarawasi where our guide will explain the functions that had this place in the Inca and colonial times. After the visit to Tarawasi we'll continue to the town of Limatambo and then we'll take the road to the village of Chonta.

It is from this town that we will start the ascendant trek to the viewpoint of Huaco point from which we can appreciate the overfly of the ruler of the Andean skies. Hundreds of condors fly over the Apurimac canyon that contrasts with the beautiful snow capped Salkantay Humantay.

End of our adventure with the return to Cusco arriving at dusk.
