7-Day Cusco & Machu Picchu Exploration: Sacred Valley, Chonta Condors & South Valley

Welcome & Acclimatization: Upon your arrival in Cusco, our team will meet you at the airport or bus station for a private transfer to your hotel. We highly recommend resting during the morning to properly acclimate to the altitude.

Inca Temples and Colonial Art: At 01:30 p.m., we will pick you up to begin the Cusco City Tour. We will explore the magnificent Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), the most important religious center of the Inca Empire. Next, we visit the Convent of Santa Catalina, a beautiful colonial complex rich in history and home to an impressive collection of sacred art.

Local Flavors and Traditional Dances: We will then walk through the vibrant San Pedro Market, Cusco's main traditional market, where you can experience a wide variety of local products, from exotic fruits to Andean textiles. To top off the evening, we will drop you off at the Centro Qosqo de Arte Nativo to enjoy a vibrant live performance of traditional regional music and dances.

Cultural Immersions and Waterfalls: We begin our journey early, heading to the colorful Písac Market for a brief immersion into local life. We then drive past Lamay and the historic Chuquibamba estate to reach the hidden Sirenachayoq Waterfall, a refreshing natural oasis perfect for taking beautiful landscape photos.

Living Inca Heritage: Our journey continues to Calca to explore the archaeological site of Unu Urco, which offers stunning views of the majestic Pitusiray snow-capped mountain. After enjoying a delicious buffet lunch in Urubamba, we finish our exploration in Ollantaytambo, admiring its monolithic stone fortress and living Inca heritage. In the evening, we will return comfortably to your hotel in Cusco.

Inca Engineering & Pink Salt: We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco between 08:00 a.m. and 08:30 a.m. First, we will visit the charming town of Maras, known for its historic adobe church, before exploring Moray, an ancient Inca agricultural laboratory featuring massive, deep circular terraces.

An Otherworldly Landscape: Next, we head to the breathtaking Maras Salt Mines, where thousands of ancient evaporation pools create a truly unique white landscape harvested manually since pre-Inca times. After a morning full of history and natural beauty, we will return to Cusco at approximately 02:00 p.m., leaving your afternoon free.

Scenic Highland Train Ride: We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco early in the morning and transfer you to the Poroy station to board the tourist train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo). During this beautiful 4-hour rail journey, you will watch the landscape transform from high-Andean peaks into lush subtropical cloud forests.

Uncovering the Citadel: Upon arrival, a quick bus ride takes you up to the majestic Machu Picchu Citadel. Your expert guide will lead you on a private 2-hour tour through its central temples, agricultural terraces, and royal palaces. Afterward, you will descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch and free time to explore the town before boarding the return train to Poroy, where our private transport awaits to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

Temples of Fertility & High Peaks: Your day starts at 06:45 a.m. with a pickup from your hotel in Cusco. After a 45-minute drive, you will explore Killarumiyoc, a highly mystical archaeological site known as the Inca Temple of the Moon and Fertility. We then stop at the Limatambo Valley viewpoint for panoramic vistas of the spectacular Salkantay and Humantay snow-capped mountains.

Adventure & The King of the Skies: The journey continues at the Huaychao Farm, where you can enjoy outdoor activities like zip-lining and crossing a Tibetan suspension bridge surrounded by fruit plantations. After a delicious local lunch, we drive to the village of Chonta for a scenic 1-hour hike to the Andean Condor Viewpoint, where you will witness the giant sacred birds soaring majestically over the deep Apurímac Canyon. Return to Cusco at approximately 07:00 p.m.

Flawless Engineering & Wari Cities: We pick you up from your hotel between 08:00 a.m. and 08:30 a.m. to travel south of the city. We explore Tipón, an impressive Inca ceremonial site renowned for its advanced, still-functioning hydraulic water channels flowing from the Pachatusan mountain. Next, we visit Pikillacta, a massive, walled ancient city that served as a major regional center for the pre-Inca Wari Empire.

The Sistine Chapel of America: Our final stop is the town of Andahuaylillas to step inside its famous 17th-century church, marveling at its golden altarpieces, historic mural art, and iconic polyglot doorway. The tour concludes with your return transfer to Cusco at around 02:30 p.m.

Farewell Cusco: At the pre-arranged time according to your flight or bus schedule, our private transport will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you safely to the Cusco Airport or bus terminal for your departure.
